The original company, Morrish Electrical was started by Derek Morrish in the mid 50’s and situated in the village of Holcombe Rogus. After the death of Mr Morrish in 1985 the company was purchased by David Brain, the manager at the time. As Mr Brain came from an engineering background he changed the name to Morrish Engineering Ltd, and subsequently moved the factory to its present location in Tiverton Devon.
David specialised in the design and development of Agricultural and Horticultural machinery, and over the years has built up a successful business selling machines all over the UK, European countries including Spain, Holland and Germany, and worldwide to the USA and Austrailia and has recently established contacts in China.
Over the past two years the company has developed and manufactured equipment designed for the Horse World, with particular emphasis on Miniature Horses, through a subsidiary company EquinEngineering Ltd. Products include Partitioning for trailers, horse boxes and stabling, free standing Pens, and a uniquely designed Miniature Horses Walker. All these items can be seen on our web site.
